Can we get F’s in the comments for this poor soul?
To any first-time readers, it’s nice to meet you. And to the people who already know me, I’m really happy that we got to meet again. I’m Ebisu Seiji.
Now then, what did you think about the fifth volume of ‘Ore Ga Suki Nano Wa Imouto Dakedo Imouto Janai’? I would be delighted if you liked it. And, to the people who started with the afterword, I hope that you like this volume.
This time as well, Yuu had to go through another round of suffering (?) with the help of Suzuka, but the exchanges between these two siblings still haven’t changed all too much. Suzuka for her part still can’t be honest with herself, while Yuu seems to be moving forward at a very slow pace. But maybe something will change in the next volume…? Even I am excited to find out how they will move forward.
But there’s something even more important that I have to announce here. Though it was already officially announced, I feel the need to scream it at the top of my lungs here as well.
The planning phase for the anime adaptation of ‘Ore Ga Suki Nano Wa Imouto Dakedo Imouto Janai’ has started!!!
Even I didn’t expect that. When I got the news, I didn’t say “Really?! Yes!!!”, but just “…Excuse me?” because I couldn’t believe it. Because of that, I really missed my chance to celebrate it, and even though I’m writing about it in this afterword, I still feels like I’m in a trance. That being said, I’m still honored to receive this chance, so I swear right here that I will give it my best.
Concerning the anime production, I do have some additional information. Speaking about mixed media, work on the manga serialization has already started! You can find more information about that in this month’s Dragon Age. The one responsible for the manga will be Narita Kou-san.
At first, I wondered “What is this serialization thing going to look like?”, but as soon as I saw him in person, I understood immediately. He took the perfect illustrations from Gintarou-san, gave them a bit of his own flair, and made them even cuter! “Ahhh, this is nice~” is what I thought back then, but now I’m completely convinced.
It’s a weird feeling, seeing one’s own work getting turned into an anime like this. Somehow it feels like it’s someone else’s work.
But even though this is purely my own subjective opinion, I would like to advertise a bit! Please watch it! I beg of you! I’m sure that you will like it!
…But, well, leaving that aside for now, I still have to thank some people, right?
This time as well, Gintarou-san drew some fantastic and overwhelmingly cute illustrations, which always gives me a great boost of motivation!
And, lastly, I have to give my thanks to all the people who made it possible for me to publish this book. To the people who have stayed with this series from the first volume, to the people who took this fifth novel into their hands, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
And with that, I hope that we can have a talk again in the near future~
