Ebisu Seiji here. Thank you very much for picking up the 7th installment of ‘Ore ga Suki Nano wa Imouto Dakedo Imouto Janai’. From this volume onwards, Yuu and Suzuka’s joint high school life has started.
On one hand, Suzuka is as happy as can be, and on the other hand, Yuu is feeling a bit conflicted because of this sudden change. And thanks to this new environment and Suzuka’s new friends, their relationship has greatly changed. Or at least, that’s how I want to see it. But what do you think about it? I would be very happy if you enjoyed your time watching the two siblings grow and change.
Even I found myself thinking “So Suzuka is finally a high school student now, huh…? Time sure flies…” and so forth, and I hope that you will be watching over these two annoyingly cute siblings from now on as well.
And speaking of time, we’ve hit the milestone of two years for this little sister series. In this short amount of time, we’ve managed to achieve a comicalization and an anime production, which still never ceases to deeply impress me. Please, if you like the series, I wholeheartedly encourage you to check out every other project as well.
Speaking about the comicalization, the first volume of the ‘Ore ga Suki Nano wa Imouto Dakedo Imouto Janai’ manga will release at the same time as the 7th installment of the main series! It has been running in the Monthly Dragon Age for quite some time, but Narita Kou-san informed me that we have enough chapters for a full-fledged volume now! Being able to see this and that scene in a different light, not to mention the cuteness of the characters, feels very special to me. I found that I was enjoying myself immensely. Every single character was drawn so lively, so I greatly advise anyone who hasn’t gotten around to checking it out to at least give it a try.
Concerning the anime production, we have set up an official homepage and distributed key visuals, so it really feels like we’re getting closer now. Just like the manga, if you find yourself interested in the progress, and hopefully the final product, please check it out.
Now then, away from all of that, and on to the thanks.
First of all, I have to thank Gintarou-san for honoring me with such wonderful illustrations like always. Of course, I also have to thank all the people who helped in making this release possible. Finally, I’d like to thank all of the readers who were wonderful enough to pick this book up. Thank you so much!
With that, I would like to finish my comments here, and I hope that we will see each other in the near future—
2nd of July, 2018. Ebisu Seiji.
